• The Area Inspector is responsible for conducting routine inspections of plant equipment, structures, and systems to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Working within the Inspection Division of the Engineering Department, the role involves performing visual and technical assessments, identifying defects, and recommending corrective actions. The Area Inspector collaborates with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability, safe operations, and compliance with inspection codes and standards. The role also includes preparing detailed reports, tracking inspection results, and supporting plant shutdowns and turnarounds to optimize plant performance and minimize downtime.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and structures for safety and compliance.
• Identify potential defects, corrosion, or wear and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings and recommended actions.
• Support maintenance teams in prioritizing repairs based on inspection results.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure proper documentation.
• Participate in shutdowns, turnarounds, and equipment overhauls to verify integrity.
• Assist in developing and improving plant inspection programs and procedures.
